Brittany Barber is a self-motivated freelance journalist and a currently attending George Brown College in the Business Administration Marketing program. Previously, she has attended the University of Toronto in a double major in English and Linguistics and is a George Brown College graduate from the General Arts and Science program.

 

Born in Toronto, Ontario Canada, Brittany takes pride in her Canadian-American background. Since relocating back to her hometown of Toronto, she has been involved with many college wide publications including George Brown's The Dialog and Centennial College's The Courier. 

 

In the last decade, Brittany's journey as a writer began with a published narrative in a national newsletter. Since then, she has been published with the help of internships at an e-commerce based media corporation Phoenix Media, as well as covering an annual conference for Newspapers Canada and writing her own poetry in her leisure.

 

With experience in covering sports, arts and life, investigative journalism and photography, Brittany is determined to achieve her goals of becoming a travel writer and marketing professional.
